As I watched the epic event on TV and as the BBC camera crew scanned around the stadium picking up on celebrities within the audience, I kept getting a glimpse of a single red hat, worn by Federer’s father, with an eye-catching typography of 'RF' - the initials of Roger Federer.

After noticing this on Federer's white and gold (sponsored by Nike) jacket at the end of the tournament, I realised how much I liked this type of branding. Simple, stylish, clean and love how the colour can be changed to suit whatever it is imprinted on.

It's a good job I have something nice to say about his branded initials, as his website sucks. On the other hand, winner of the Women's Singles tournament, Serena Williams does website design proud and presents us with a well designed website. Shame about it not being valid code.
