HTML 5 and CSS 3

Posted on by Craig Jones - 3 comments

This is a single page, test example, of the upcoming launch of HTML 5 and CSS 3. The examples we talk about on this page may not work in all browsers, as of writing on 28th July 2009.

HTML 5 Code

The image above should render using the CSS shadow effect; meaning a gradient shadow should be present around the image in some browsers.

The categories on the right hand side should also have top rounded corners using CSS 3. The rest of this page is then coded in HTML 5; meaning there is a structures code layout when viewing the source of this page. Again, this does not work in all browsers and at the time of writing this it does not work in IE6 to 8.
